Note: Intercontinental Airport is located in the area above the northeast quadrant of this map. Highway 59 South is well-signposted at the airport exit.
Renting a car will make your life easier in Houston. Overnight valet parking at the Wyndham Warwick costs $12.50 per night. Self parking at the hotel is $6 per night. On campus, you will need to park in the stadium parking lot (use entrance #12 off Rice Blvd.) and take a shuttle bus to Duncan Hall (see the campus map). There will be a Rice shuttle operating between the hotel and campus during the conference.

SHUTTLE

The Airport Express shuttle leaves both the Intercontinental Airport and Hobby Airport every half hour. An Airport Express counter is located on the lower level near the baggage claim area in both airports.

The shuttle runs from the airports daily from 5:25 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Pick up from the Wyndham Warwick must be arranged in advance directly with Airport Express. Tickets can be purchased at both airports and at the Wyndham Warwick Hotel. To return to the airport by shuttle, call:

Shuttles from the Wyndham Warwick
The Rice shuttle service will provide transportation between the Wyndham Warwick Hotel and the Rice campus during the days of the conference. Details will be posted soon.

The Wyndham Warwick hotel provides complimentary van service within a 2-mile radius from the hotel. This includes the Houston Medical Center, Rice University, and Rice Village. Service is arranged upon request. Guests must call 639-4567 for pick-up service.

Downtown Houston Van Service will depart the hotel every half hour from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Guests may call 639-4567 for pick-up service.

Allen Parkway Business District Van Service will be available between 7 a.m. - 10 a.m. and again from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Van services may be arranged upon request and guests must call 639-4567 for pick-up service.

Houston Galleria Van Service will operate two runs per day, Monday through Friday - the van service will depart to the Galleria at noon with a scheduled pick-up at 4:30 p.m. and again departing at 4:00 p.m. with a scheduled pick-up at 9:00 p.m.* at the drop-off point. Saturday & Sunday departure time will be 1:00 p.m. with a scheduled pick-up of 5:00 p.m.

* Pick-up from the Galleria is available only if dropped off by the valet service.
