Chairman Postdoctoral Fellowship at Rice University
A postdoctoral position is available in the Applied Algorithms Group of the Department of Computer Science at Rice University, hosted by faculty members Vova Braverman and Maryam Aliakbarpour. We are looking for candidates with a broad interest in theoretical computer science and learning theory. Example topics of interest include theoretical aspects of federated learning, streaming and sketching algorithms, differential privacy, and game theory.
The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Computer Science before the start date and have a strong publication record in these areas. We offer a competitive salary along with travel funds. The position is available for two years, with a required start date no later than December 31, 2024.
