Students entering Fondren Library should insert their Rice ID into the card reader and then proceed through the turnstile. To borrow books from the library, your Rice ID must have a paid fee sticker on the back. Graduate students have three due dates: April 20, August 20, and December 20. They can also renew books by bringing them back to the circulation desk.
The primary way to find out what books the library has, is through the
online catalog system. It can be accessed either via a text interface
(telnet libris.rice.edu) or through the web (point your browser to
http://www-library.rice.edu).
