wx:snip-class%

    Superclass:  wx:object%

  A direct instance of  wx:snip-class% is uninteresting. Useful snip classes are defined by instantiating derived subclasses, but this class defines the basic fucntionality.

In deriving a new snip class class, the classname and version must be set, and the readmethod must be overridden to create a usefull snip class.
